Choosing renewable rainwater as the source for Sky Springs™ Rainwater has been a success for the growing Texas Hill Country company. Founders created the design for a Sky Springs™ facility as a sustainable cycle of rainwater collection. Rainwater storage, purification, disinfection, and bottling in a biodegradable BPA-free bottle or newly created Lil’ cloud water pouch – is completed all in one place.
Bottled water has started to outsell soda with most bottled water companies choosing a tap water source or natural spring water, pumping groundwater at the cost of the most important resource for people living in the area of operation. Rainwater collection, on the other hand, uses water that would otherwise be considered wasted stormwater since it only collects the rain off of the facility roof.
Sky Springs™ innovative production implements gravity, carbon filtration, ozone, and gentle UV light to filter the rainwater. The rainwater produced at a Sky Springs™ facility is 20 times purer than Evian bottled water, 14 times purer than Fiji as well as being two times as pure as Smartwater. Every step of the process protects the rainwater, including being stored in BPA-free Pioneer Water Tanks after the rooftop collection and filtration process.
